London [UK], Jan 11 (ANI): Crystal Palace held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw on Saturday in the ongoing Premier League at Selhurst Park here.
Arsenal took the initial lead after scoring in the 12th minute of the game. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the goal for the visitors, giving a 1-0 lead over Crystal Palace.
The Gunners had most of the possession and made several attempts to extend their lead but were denied the lead by the robust defense of Crystal Palace, leading to the same scoreline in the first half.
With the opening of the second half, Jordon Ayew scored the equalizer for the hosts in the 54th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the game, Aubemeyang was sent off for a tackle on Max Meyer.
Both teams tried to score goals but no further goals were scored in the game and ended with 1-1.
Arsenal is on the 10th spot in the Premier League table with 31 points while Crystal Palace is placed 9th place with 29 points.
The Gunners will next take on Sheffield United on January 18 while Crystal Palace will take on Manchester City on January 18. (ANI)
