London [UK], August 12 (ANI): Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui has put high hopes on Welsh footballer Gareth Bale after the exit of start striker Cristiano Ronaldo from the club.
Lopetegui assured that Bale is fully committed to the club and this is just the beginning for the striker.
"The Bale we have now is committed, content, wanting to have a great season. He is training very well, happy, and we are so happy with him. This has only just begun," goal.com quoted Lopetegui, as saying.
Bale, who has struggled with his form due to persistent injuries, is expected to fill the huge void which has been created after the departure of Ronaldo and is one of the most valuable players in the club at the moment.
The club is, currently, experimenting with different youngsters to find the best combination in the team.
Reflecting on the same, Lopetegui said that all the young players are doing really and the decision regarding their future in the team would be taken at the right time.
"We are delighted with all the young players we have here. They have played a very good preseason. The young players' contribution gives energy and Real Madrid has needs youth and enthusiasm. There is still pre-season to finish off with the squad and we will make decisions," he said.
Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid to start a new journey with Italian club Juventus in July, this year. (ANI)
