The penultimate day of the round-robin stage in the inaugural Archery Premier League (APL) at the Yamuna Sports Complex here saw the Prithviraj Yodhas joining the Rajputana Royals and the Mighty Marathas in the semifinals, while the Kakatiya Knights came back from the dead to stay in contention for a top-four finish.

After a washout on Tuesday, the Archery Premier League (APL) saw the teams playing two matches each in two sessions on Wednesday at the Yamuna Sports Complex here in the national capital, at the end of which the unbeaten Rajputana Royals had taken their winning streak to seven, while the Kakatiya Knights succumbed to their sixth defeat.

The fourth day of the Archery Premier League (APL) at the DDA Yamuna Sports Complex on Sunday saw more thrilling action. The Mighty Marathas defeated the Chola Chiefs, the Prithviraaj Yodhas secured their second consecutive win over the Chero Archers in a Shoot-Off, and the Rajputana Royals continued their strong form with a victory against the Kakatiya Knights.

The six-team APL kicked off on the day of Dussehra, October 2, and will run till October 12. In their three matches so far, the Chiefs have won twice with Ellison in fine shooting form, leading from the front, as per a press release from the Archery Association of India (AAI).
