Grimsby Town stun Manchester United in penalty shootout thriller of Carbao Cup 2025

London [UK], August 28 (ANI): Manchester United exited the Carabao Cup on penalties on Wednesday despite a second-half fightback against Grimsby Town at Blundell Park.
Manchester United were swept aside by the League Two outfit Grimsby Town during a chastening opening 45 minutes, as goals from Charles Vernam and Tyrell Warren saw the Mariners race into a two-goal lead.
