Kylian Mbappe

Perth [Australia], June 22 (ANI): Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has said that French footballer Kylian Mbappe, who was rewarded with the young player of the tournament title in the recently concluded FIFA World Cup, is the best football player in the world.
Bakayoko, who is also a Frenchman, praised the 19-year-old for his intelligence and asserted that it is not an easy task to match the quickness of the experienced players.
"I'm not surprised [at his success], he's very young but he's very mature. He's a very intelligent player and I think with his characteristics he's the best player in the world," Goal.com quoted Bakayoko, as saying.
"Don't forget he's very young and it's not easy to play against the older players and to be so quick on the pitch," he added.
Reflecting on France's World Cup glory, Bokayako said that the team played really well and that he is really happy for his Chelsea team-mates Olivier Giroud and N'Golo Kante who were part of the winning squad.
Mbappe, who became the first teenager to score in a World Cup final since Brazilian legend Pele, played a crucial part in securing France a 4-2 victory against Croatia in the final of the FIFA World Cup. (ANI)
