New Zealand captain Kane Williamson

Dubai [UAE], Mar 5 (ANI): New Zealand coach Gary Stead heaped praises on Kane Williamson, saying the Kiwi captain has an "insatiable appetite to bat and to hit balls".
"If you see how hard he (Williamson) works and he has done it from a very, very young age as well. He is not a guy that rests on his laurels at all, and you would not be surprised [about his records] if you see his training," ICC quoted Stead, as saying.
Williamson, who smashed double-century in the first Test against Bangladesh, became the only second Kiwi player ever to have more than 900 points on the Test rankings chart. He is now just seven points behind Indian captain Virat Kohli, who sits at the top spot.
During the opening match, Williamson also reached 6000 Test runs, making him the fastest Kiwi player to achieve the milestone. (ANI)
