T20I rankings: Mandhana, Poonam, Radha Yadav retain their spots

Dubai [UAE], Mar 29 (ANI): Indian opener Smriti Mandhana and spin bowlers Poonam Yadav and Radha Yadav on Friday consolidated their spots for the batters and bowlers respectively in the updated ICC Women's T20I player rankings.

Dubai [UAE], Mar 29 (ANI): Indian opener Smriti Mandhana and spin bowlers Poonam Yadav and Radha Yadav on Friday consolidated their spots for the batters and bowlers respectively in the updated ICC Women's T20I player rankings.
Smriti Mandhana retained her third sport in the rankings of batters with 698 points. Her fellow team-mates Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur also held on to their ranking of number six and number nine respectively. Rodrigues has 672 points whereas Harmanpreet has 647 points.
Susie Bates of New Zealand holds the pole position in the rankings for batters with a total of 765 points. England's Natalie Sciver has moved up one place to the 13th position after unbeaten scores of 49, 10 and 11 in the recently concluded series against Sri Lanka.
Tammy Beaumont has also gained eight places to reach the 18th position after scoring 76 runs in the series. Amy Jones is another one to gain in the latest rankings as she advanced 25 places to the 45th position.
In terms of bowler rankings, Poonam Yadav and Radha Yadav have held onto their ranking of number two and five respectively. Poonam has 710 points whereas Radha has 681 points.
Among England's bowlers, Linsey Smith has moved to the 95th position from the 98th position after taking four wickets in the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. Kate Cross has moved up from 71st position to 63rd while Laura Marsh has attained the 64th position, marking a significant 18 place rise.
Megan Schutt of Australia holds the pole position in terms of bowlers rankings and has 796 points.
Deandra Dottin of West Indies holds the number one position in the all-rounder rankings with a total of 424 points, followed by Stafanie Taylor (West Indies) at number two with 387 points.
India is placed on number three in the team rankings in the T20I format. Australia holds the number one position with 144 points, a clear 22 point lead over England who are ranked at number two. (ANI)
