London [UK], May 15 (ANI): South Africa's stand-in captain Sune Luus hailed her bowling attack saying they are the 'best in the world'.
"At this time of the year, the pitches in South Africa play mostly the same. The three pitches we played on [in the ODIs] were kind of the same. They're just flat wickets. I think we expect the same here. It's going to be a good contest for the batsmen to showcase their talent," ESPN Cricinfo quoted Luus, as saying.
"It's still going to be a bit tough for our pace bowlers, but we know how great they are. They're the best bowling attack in the world. The way they've stepped up so far has been really good," she added.
Except for the first ODI against Pakistan women, South Africa's bowlers have shown amazing performances as they bundled off the Pakistan women's team back to the pavilion for 147 runs, and subsequently helped the team register an eight-wicket victory in the second ODI.
In the third clash as well, South Africa bowlers got hold of nine players but the match ended in a tie. The ODI series also concluded 1-1.
Luus stated that the players regained confidence after they were bowled out for just 63 runs in the first ODI.
"A positive we can take out of the three games is the way our batters came back in the second and third ODIs. That was brilliant to see, and all of the batters have huge confidence going into the T20s," Luus said.
South Africa women will be facing Pakistan women for their first T20I clash today. (ANI)
