Shoaib Akhtar to mentor Lahore Qalandars in PSL 3

Bangladesh pacer Nahid Rana heaped praise on the team's fast bowling coach, Shaun Tait, describing him as an outstanding mentor who supports players both professionally and personally.

Chasing a modest target of 115 runs, the Bangla Tigers achieved that in 15.1 overs with the opener batter Tanzid Hasan Tamim playing an unbeaten knock of 67 runs off just 42 balls. He hit seven fours and five sixes in his impressive knock.

The opening duo added 41 runs before Nahid Rana got rid of Farhan in the 10th over. The highest run-scorer of the recently concluded T20 World Cup, Farhan, made 27 runs off 38 balls with the help of four boundaries in his maiden ODI match.

Ishan had a tournament to remember as he emerged as India's second-highest run-getter, with a half-century in the final and two 'Player of the Match' awards against Namibia and arch-rivals Pakistan being the highlights of his campaign. Before the World Cup, Ishan made a return to the Indian set-up for the first time since 2023 after a scintillating Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT), where he led Jharkhand to their maiden title as a captain, scoring 517 runs in 10 innings, with two centuries and two fifties.

Kuldeep Yadav did not get many chances to play in the tournament except for a match against Pakistan, where he picked up one wicket while conceding 14 runs.
