Islamabad [Pakistan], Oct 28 (ANI): Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi has rejected the board’s expenditure report on total monetary expenses during his tenure.
PCB had issued a detailed report about expenses and benefits related to previous chairmen for the period 2014 to September 30, 2018, the Express Tribune reported.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Sethi said that the reports are motivated by “new mafia in PCB”, adding that this would not go unchallenged.
“Clearly motivated by new mafia at PCB. Distortion of facts and figures. This defamation will not go unchallenged,” he wrote.
According to the reports, Sethi spent over 70 million Pakistani rupees during his term as the PCB chairman.
In August, Sethi had stepped down as PCB chairman, paving the way for Ehsan Mani to take over the position. (ANI)
