Pakistan batsman Haris Sohail

Dubai [UAE], Mar 24 (ANI): Pakistan batsmen Haris Sohail has said that morale is still high within the team despite Pakistan's eight-wicket loss to Australia and acknowledged that the latter have come with renewed confidence after their series win against India.
"We fought well to take the match to the second-last over. We will do more preparation,” Sohail said ahead of the second ODI on Sunday, 24 March.
“The morale is high, but Australia have come with confidence after winning the series in India," International Cricket Council (ICC) quoted Sohail as saying.
The batsman scored his maiden ODI century in the first ODI, but Pakistan was unable to defend their score of 280 runs as Aussie Skipper Aaron Finch brought up his 12th ODI hundred and forged a 172-run-stand with Shaun Marsh for the second wicket.
"When you score a hundred, it is a great feeling, but had we won, it would have been a different feeling, more enjoyable," Sohail said.
"Overall, our bowlers bowled well, but wickets were needed and that would have made a difference, I think credit must be given to Finch and Marsh [for] the way they played, they took the game [away] from us," he added.
Pakistan takes on Australia in the second ODI today at Sharjah. (ANI)
