IPL 13: KL Rahul wins 'Orange Cap', Rabada takes home 'Purple Cap'

Since joining KKR in 2024, during which he was a part of the team that sealed their third IPL trophy, Ramandeep has contributed 172 runs at an impressive strike rate of 167.9, with 6 wickets already to his name. More recently, Ramandeep lit up the 2025 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with 209 runs at a strike rate of 195 and 9 wickets across 10 matches, and he looks primed for his best season yet in Purple and Gold

Grinding out in his 20s in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) and domestic cricket for Mumbai, Suryakumar struggled to make it to Team India, watching many of his peers get a national cap. Despite a purple patch in the IPL from 2018-2020, which saw him score 400-500 runs consistently, India's very own 'Mr 360' struggled to catch selectors' attention. But when he finally did at the age of 30, his next five years saw him live out a decade worthy of career highs and lows, making him one of the most intriguing figures of Indian cricket.

Parakh, 19, who has represented Maharashtra at all levels from U19 to senior level and even struck a century in just 75 balls in U19 India colours against Australia back in September 2024, will be playing for the Blue and Red franchise in his first IPL season. His most recent outings saw him register scores of 6 and 18 during his first two Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) T20 matches for Maharashtra at the senior level, and the exposure and some possible game time with the Capitals could definitely help the youngster up his game.

Healy presented the 19-year-old Lucy Hamilton with her maiden cap during the third ODI against India in Hobart last Sunday. Australia won the match by 185 runs, completing a clean sweep of the ODI series after losing the T20I series 1-2.

Speaking to ANI, Bavuma, while backing his star all-format pace spearhead, spoke of how the Proteas fast bowling attack consisting of Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, Corbin Bosch and Anrich Nortje has delivered well as a collective and how Proteas has the luxury of having "four superb guys" with the ball at the same time.
