England women win 1st T20 against Sri Lanka women

Colombo [Sri Lanka], Mar 24 (ANI): England women continued to dominate the Sri Lanka as they won the first T20 match against the host by eight wickets on Saturday.

Colombo [Sri Lanka], Mar 24 (ANI): England women continued to dominate Sri Lanka women as they won the first T20 match against the host by eight wickets here on Saturday.
Sri Lanka Women won the toss and elected to bat but their batting order was pulverized by the England bowlers as they lost all their wickets on 94 runs with one over still remaining in the inning.
England Women opener, Tammy Beaumont, scored an unbeaten half-century as she guided visitor’s inning towards victory. With this incredible knock, she also passed 1,000-run mark in T20I.
Earlier, England Women subjugated the Sri Lanka Women as they clean swept the host to win the ODI series. 
England Women will try to continue their thumping form in the second T20 match on March 24 to seal the series against Sri Lanka Women. (ANI)
