Cape Town [South Africa] Nov 17 (ANI): One of the independent directors of Cricket South Africa (CSA) Board, Louis von Zeuner has resigned from the board.
Zeuner, who is also the Chairperson of CSA Audit and Risk Committee, vacated his position due to the developments and pressure in relation to numerous boards that he is currently serving, both locally and internationally.
While expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the CSA, Zeuner said that he thoroughly enjoyed his time with the board. Zeuner, however, said that he wanted to prioritise a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) Board to which he was recently appointed.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with CSA and particularly under the Chairmanship of Nenzani. However, when a call came to serve on a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) Board to which I was recently appointed, it became a priority and I had to get time in my program to allow for the further responsibilities," Sport24 quoted Zeuner, as saying.
In 2013, Zeuner was appointed as one of the original independent directors of the CSA board and was due to conclude his final term at the 2019 Annual general meeting. (ANI)
