Cricket Academy of Pathans sets foot in Delhi

New Delhi [India], May 11 (ANI): The Cricket Academy of Pathans launched its first centre in the national capital, in the presence of Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan and Managing Director (CAP) Harmeet Vasdev, here at Vidhya Bharati School in Rohini.

New Delhi [India], May 11 (ANI): The Cricket Academy of Pathans launched its first centre in the national capital, in the presence of Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan and Managing Director (CAP) Harmeet Vasdev, here at Vidhya Bharati School in Rohini.
The academy will employ state-of-the-art coaching techniques to teach and develop budding cricketers in New Delhi.
Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP), currently present in nine cities- Delhi, Noida, Bengaluru, Rajkot, Surat, Sonipat, Pon Blair, Raipur and Lunawada, aims to provide world-class coaching and training infrastructure to young children.
Australian cricket legend and former coach of the Indian cricket team Greg Chappell and renowned coach from Australia Cameron Tradell have designed the curriculum for the coaching program.
CAP has pledged to invest Rs 2 crore along with partners for further expansion across India in various cities of Gujarat, Punjab, Maharasthra and Uttar Pradesh.
With a group of select, qualified expert coaches, the Pathan brothers-- Irfan and Yusuf-- had launched these academies two years back to reciprocate their love for the game.
Talking about the academy, CAP Director Yusuf Pathan said, "We at CAP, are trying to create an eco-system which will bandit not only the students but also the coaches through a two-way learning process. Through this, we will be able to set the benchmark for cricket academics in India".
Yusuf Pathan also spent quality time interacting with students and their parents. He advised students on the different pathways that they could follow to succeed in the sport and also made them aware of the many different qualities learnt playing the span that aid the personal development of an individual.
The academy provides coaching for kids to play cricket as well as those who aspire to become coaches in order to understand the technicalities of the game and in return execute their teamed skills on kids.(ANI)
