Court holds former England Under-19 captain Shiv Thakor guilty

London [UK], Nov 16 (ANI): Former England Under-19 captain Shiv Thakor has been found guilty by the Derby Crown Court for exposing himself to two women on a housing estate.

As reported in the ESPNcricinfo, the Derbyshire County Cricket Club player had exposed himself twice -- on June 12 and June 19, while jogging around a housing estate in Mackworth, Derby.

Thakor, who was suspended on full pay by the club after the incident, was also arrested in July for the offences.

One of the two victim women has also labelled Thakor as "Shifty Shiv" for having allegedly jogging in unbuttoned bottoms.

A woman, while presenting evidences in the court, said that she was absolutely sure of Thakor's identity and intent.

"I bent down to get some paper from the printer," a female witness said.

She added, "I just put my head down and carried on with my work. He knew exactly what he was doing."

However, Thakor denied the claims and defended self saying that the women have "got it wrong".

The 24-year-old has been granted unconditional bail for now, until his sentencing on November 24.(ANI)
