"Rahul Gandhi fighting for rights of common man": Congress leader amid INDIA bloc leaders march

Earlier today, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi and other INDIA bloc MPs were detained by Delhi Police during their protest march against the Election Commission over Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in poll-bound Bihar and allegations of "voter fraud" during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

New Delhi [India], August 11 (ANI): Congress leader Vamsi Krishna Gaddam said on Monday that Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's earlier presentation on alleged "vote chori being done" has "absolutely opened" the eyes of the common man.
Gaddam told ANI, "First of all, India is awakening. Everyone is watching how Rahul Gandhi has given his presentation single-handedly. The first point is that he has been appreciated for fighting for the rights of the common man... What Rahul Gandhi has presented has absolutely opened the common man's eyes. How can EC do such a thing..."
"All these raise suspicion that the EC is looking as if something has gone wrong, and Rahul Gandhi has daringly come in front of the whole country and given such an aggressive presentation. The funny thing is that instead of EC responding, BJP is responding..."
Earlier, INDIA bloc leaders discussed their strategy about the SIR in Bihar at a dinner hosted by Rahul Gandhi at his residence with the Congress leader giving a presentation on "vote chori being done" during the meeting.
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, TMC MP Sagarika Ghose, and other MPs were also among those detained by the police. The detained MPs were corralled into a bus to be taken to the Parliament Street police station.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Opposition's fight is not a political fight but a fight to save the constitution.
"The reality is that they cannot talk. The truth is in front of the country. This fight is not political. This fight is to save the Constitution. This fight is for One Man, One Vote. We want a clean, pure voters list," the Congress leader said.
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi said, "Dare hue hai. Sarkaar kaayar hai. (They are afraid, the Government is a coward)." (ANI)
