New blood bank brings relief to people in Kashmir Valley
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct. 26 (ANI): The G. B. Pant Children Hospital here has got a new blood bank, which is providing much needed relief to local residents. The Jammu and Kashmir government has ensured that this blood bank is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including machines, refrigerators and comfortable chairs where patients can donate their blood with confidence and patients or their families can procure blood within minutes free of cost. This blood bank has a capacity to store up to 400 units of blood. The hospital caters to 800 to 1,000 patients in its out patients department (OPD) every day. (ANI)
