Schools to remain closed in some districts of Uttarakhand in view of heavy rain forecast

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], Feb 6 (ANI): All schools and Anganwadi centres in Bageshwar, Tehri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Champawat will remain closed tomorrow in the light of heavy rain forecast in the mountain ranges of the state.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], Feb 6 (ANI): All schools and Anganwadi centres in Bageshwar, Tehri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Champawat will remain closed on Thursday in light of heavy rain forecast in the mountain ranges of the state.
Indian Meteorological Department has already issued an alert of heavy rain or snowfall at a few places in the state. It has also warned of thunderstorm accompanied with an isolated hailstorm in several areas of Uttarakhand.
Meteorological Centre here has also issued a forecast for a generally cloudy sky and light to moderate rain, snow very likely to occur at most places in Uttarakhand. (ANI)
