New Delhi [India] Mar. 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who today attended the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) parliamentary meeting here in the wake of the party's splendid show in the recent assembly polls, said that the country's youth should be made the ambassadors of government's good work.

New Delhi [India] Mar. 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who today attended the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) parliamentary meeting here in the wake of the party's splendid show in the recent assembly polls, said that the country's youth should be made the ambassadors of government's good work. This was conveyed by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anant Kumar after the meeting. "This huge victory reflects the support of the public, who have faith in us. The youth are an essential part of the country and, therefore, should be made ambassadors of good work of the government," Kumar quoted the Prime Minister as saying. He further said that mobile phones have become an important part of a youngster's life. "Through this technology, they get to know about each and every programmes implemented by our party and its contribution in the development section," said Kumar. "In the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and party chief Amit Shah, all the party workers have worked hard and led to the victory. We thank them and wish that they will continue to perform in the similar manner for the development of the society," he added. The Union Minister also showered praise on BJP president Amit Shah and said the latter during his address said this victory was gained against cast discrimination and corruption under the Prime Minister's supervision. Highlighting Prime Minister Modi's emphasis on "performance", "reform" and "transformation", he further said that the BJP has set an example of administration and development in the past three years. "The implementation of various programmes to help the rural sector of the society played a crucial role in this victory. Prime Minister Modi in the meeting thanked each and every member of the party and especially the public," Kumar asserted. "Prime Minister Modi has urged the party workers to keep on working towards the success of the nation and work hard to improve the condition of the country," he emphasized. Meanwhile, the BJP president asked the party workers to get ready for the 2019 elections, which will be more crucial. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on his part said that the public has supported the demonetisation move with immense humbleness. Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda while expressing his joy over the victory said the party has been celebrating the win since the last five days. The meeting was reportedly held to decide the probable names for the chief ministerial candidate of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, where the saffron party won with a comfortable majority. (ANI)
