Yogi Adityanath to take oath tomorrow as UP CM: Venkaiah Naidu

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Mar. 18 (ANI): With Yogi Adityanath all set to take oath as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister tomorrow, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday asserted that the oath taking ceremony will take place tomorrow.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Mar. 18 (ANI): With Yogi Adityanath all set to take oath as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister tomorrow, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday asserted that the oath taking ceremony will take place tomorrow. "The oath taking ceremony will take place at 2:15 p.m. tomorrow in Uttar Pradesh, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to also be present at the occasion," said Naidu. Naidu asserted that during the oath taking ceremony, Yogi Adityanath and the deputy Chief Ministers would address the media tomorrow. "Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister designate Yogi Adityanath and the deputy Chief Ministers will also address the media tomorrow. Chief Ministers from Andhra Pradesh, Nagaland and Jammu and Kashmir will also be present at the occasion," said the Union Minister. Naidu further said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has come to power with a huge majority in Uttar Pradesh. "In Uttar Pradesh, the new government will only work for development and good governance. Under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, the BJP government will work only for the advancement of the people," he added. Adityanath, a five-time MP from the Gorakhpur constituency, was the youngest member of the 12th Lok Sabha at the age of 26. Currently, Adityanath serves as the Mahant of Guru Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, following the death of Mahanth Aavaidyanath on September 12, 2014. The other contenders in the race were Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya, Union Minister Manoj Sinha, BJP leader Shrikant Sharma and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.(ANI)
