Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 12 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Kumar Nishad has slammed the Congress party over an AI-generated video posted by the Bihar Congress, featuring characters resembling Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother.
Hitting out at the Congress party, Nishad stated that such "antics" will not bring success in politics.
"I condemn it; no success of any kind can be achieved in politics by indulging in such antics. I will write a letter to PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the BJP that as long as American platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook remain, such fake messages will continue to reach people like this. This is a matter of concern; we should reflect on this," the minister said.
Earlier today, BJP leader CT Ravi strongly condemned the Congress party over the issue, describing the Congress party as a "clan of thieves" that always accuses others. He further accused the Congress of doing "vote chori."
Speaking to ANI, CT Ravi said, "Congress is a clan of thieves. Such people always make accusations against others. Who did 'Vote Chori'? Congress. They lost even the Vice Presidential election, which was conducted on ballots. With the blessings of God, India has received a leader like PM Modi."
Rajasthan BJP president Madan Rathore came down heavily on the Congress over the AI-generated video and said that those who get frustrated in politics resort to "cheap tactics".
Rathore said that the video uploaded by the Bihar Congress' official handle on X was "highly condemnable".
In an AI-generated video posted by the Bihar Congress that has gone viral, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen dreaming about his late mother, Heeraben Modi, who is lambasting him over his politics.
Reacting to this, BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari alleged that Congress was "mocking" PM Modi's late mother on the instructions of Leader of Opposition (LoP) Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
The Congress has come under fire once again, even as the recent controversy over alleged abuses hurled at PM Modi and his mother by a man during the 'Voter Adhikaar Rally' in Bihar's Darbhanga had barely subsided.
The BJP had launched a massive attack against the opposition parties, especially Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, over alleged abuses hurled against PM Modi's mother. (ANI)
