"Woman CM in Delhi is far-reaching thinking of PM Modi": Himachal BJP Chief Rajeev Bindal

"New Delhi [India], February 20 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajeev Bindal said on Thursday that the appointment of Rekha Gupta as Delhi Chief Minister is the far-reaching thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to ANI, Bindal emphasized that Delhi's development will be ensured after a long time.
"This is a golden moment for the country and the BJP, when under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, Rekha Gupta will take oath as the CM along with her team. After a long time, Delhi's development will be ensured and the country can see this...In the last 10 years, PM Modi has taken several steps towards women empowerment...In this connection, a woman CM in Delhi is the far-reaching thinking of PM Modi," Bindal said.
BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who is set to take oath as a Delhi Minister today, expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for the opportunity to be part of the team focused on implementing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.
Speaking to the media, Sirsa highlighted that they will take action against those who commit corruption.
"I am grateful to the top leadership of the party for giving me the opportunity to be part of the team that will implement PM Modi's vision... Delhi will get clean water, clean air... We will take action against those who commit corruption and Arvind Kejriwal will have to spend most of his time in jail," he said.

Rekha will be the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi. The National Capital has had women Chief Ministers from the BJP, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party. She will succeed Atishi.
An elected MLA from Shalimar Bagh seat, Rekha has served as general secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha in Delhi and as a member of its national executive committee. In these roles, she initiated numerous campaigns for the welfare of marginalized communities and women.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is forming a government in the national capital after 27 years.BJP won 48 seats out of 70 seats, while Aam Aadmi Party could win only 22 seats in the assembly polls held earlier this month. Congress could not open its account in the third successive election. (ANI)
