Rao added that state government would continue the fee reimbursement scheme and promised to clear pending fee dues at the earliest. However, he ruled out the possibility of paying entire due amount at one go. "Fee should reach poor students like how it has been happening since congress government. I guarantee that we will have all party meeting on fee reimbursement and discuss all problems. We will close colleges run by bad managements as we want students to study in good colleges," he added. Reacting to the speeches of various party MLAs on fee reimbursement in the Assembly on Wednesday, he said the government needed 2,000-2,500 crore every year for the scheme depending on the number of eligible students.
