"Will reveal 2-year harassment by Congress leaders" says Congress rebel Captain Ajay Singh Yadav

A day after submitting his resignation, senior Congress leader Captain Ajay Singh Yadav on Friday said he is waiting for Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge to accept his resignation, following which he plans to meet the media and share his experiences of harassment and embarrassment by some leaders in the last two years.

Chandigarh [India], October 18 (ANI): A day after submitting his resignation, senior congress">Congress leader Captain Ajay Singh Yadav on Friday said he is waiting for congress">Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge to accept his resignation, following which he plans to meet the media and share his experiences of harassment and embarrassment by some leaders in the last two years.
"I waiting for acceptance of my resignation by congress">Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge's ji and thereafter I will meet the media and give my version of harassment and embarrassment meted out to me for the last 2 years by certain leaders," Yadav said on X.
He also said that he is a full-time politician and will decide his future course of action after his resignation is accepted.
"I am not a saint and am a full-time politician and will decide my future course of action moment my resignation is accepted by congress">Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge ji and give detail version of the working and hurdles created by certain leaders to cut me out size my Political career," Yadav said on X.
Earlier on Thursday, in a post on X, Yadav said that he has resigned from the position of chairman of the AICC OBC Department and from primary membership in congress">Congress.
"I have sent my resignation letter to congress">Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's ji from Chairman AICC OBC Department and also from primary membership of Indian National congress">Congress party," Ajay Singh Yadav posted on X and tagged congress">Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.
He said resigning from the party was a difficult decision for him as his family has had a 70-year association with it.
"This decision of resigning was really hard decision with whom my family had 70 years of association as my father late Rao Abhey Singh became MLA in 1952 and there after I continued with family tradition but am disillusioned with the party high command for treating me shabbily after Sonia Gandhi left the post of congress President," Yadav said on X.
Notably, Captain Ajay Singh Yadav had won five consecutive Assembly elections from Haryana's Rewari in 1991, 1996, 2000, 2005 and 2009.
The BJP formed the government for its third term in Haryana after winning 48 out of 90 seats in the assembly elections. The congress">Congress won 37 seats. (ANI)
