New Delhi [India], June 15 (ANI): BJP MP Nishikant Dubey targeted Congress over their foreign policy in the past on Sunday. Speaking about his X post against Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, he alleged that Congress fell into Pakistan's trap and believed that the Chief of Pakistan Army, Asim Munir, had been invited to the White House in the USA.
Speaking to ANI, Nishikant Dubey said, "The opposition, especially the Congress, has stopped reading and writing. For the last 2-3 days, the entire Congress party kept saying that Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir is going to the US. This was a trap by Pakistan. People across the country turned the opposition to Modi into opposition to the country. Today, it is known that the White House or the US military never called Asim Munir. What is the difference between the Pakistan Muslim League and Jairam Ramesh?"
Referring to the Kanishka bombing incident, when Khalistani extremists bombed an Air India flight, he said, "Big accident happened in Ahmedabad. Secondly, when the Kanishka bomb blast happened in 1985, when did Canada start its investigation? It started in 2006. Former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's father was the Prime Minister of Canada from 1968 to 1984. Indira Gandhi wrote seven letters to him for 16 years...He was not replying her letters, he was not listening to her and was giving shelter to Khalistani terrorists and you are teaching us foreign policy?"
Launching an attack on Congress's stand on Israel and Palestine, he alleged that Congress has secretly supported Israel after taking a stand for Palestine in the United Nations in 1950.
He told ANI, ".In 1948, Israel and Palestine became two countries. In 1948, Nehruji supported Palestine in the UN and opposed Israel, but in 1950, Nehruji secretly opened his trade office Mission in Mumbai. In 1953, its Consulate General was opened in Mumbai. In the 1971 war with Pakistan, we used Israeli weapons, and the Mossad was used to plan the attack on Pakistan along with the then Lieutenant General Jacob. In 1992, the first Israeli embassy was opened in Delhi. Palestine's Office finally opened in India in 1996...Till now, from 1948 to 2014, as long as their government was in power, more than 50 times, either we supported Israel in the UN Security Council, or we abstained. Today, when you talk about Palestine, do you think that we will support Hamas? India is with the citizens of Palestine, we have given them aid of almost 200 million from 2020 till now...In this budget too, we have kept 39 million for Palestine. But as far as Israel is concerned, if Hamas attacks them, kidnaps their children, beats them, then are we supporting a terrorist organisation like Hamas?"
Lauding PM Narendra Modi's foreign policy, Dubey said, "Their entire foreign policy was only Nehru-family centric, the country is suffering the consequences of that and PM Modi is constantly working towards strengthening India's position abroad. That's why he is attending the G7 and G20 summits. And people know how he was welcomed in Saudi Arabia, which is a Muslim country. Let Congress do politics for vote bank and Muslim appeasement, and one day, Congress will not win even a seat in the Lok Sabha.
He also alleged that after 26/11, when Congress won elections in 2009, Manmohan Singh made an agreement with Pakistan and, under global pressure, supported terrorism and Pakistan.
As India abstained from voting on the UN's motion on Gaza, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra targeted the BJP and called it 'shameful'.
Replying to Priyanka Gandhi, Dubey shared an X post saying, "This is what happens when you haven't studied history @priyankagandhi, 1. Do you know that after America, the first office of the Israeli Mission was opened in Mumbai by Nehru Ji in 1950, which means we gave undeclared recognition to Israel? 2. Do you know that in the 1971 war with Pakistan, Indira Gandhi used Israeli weapons, and the Mossad people used to plan the attack on Pakistan along with the then Lieutenant General Jacob? 3. Do you know that the Congress government opened the first declared Israeli embassy in Delhi in 1992? 4. Do you know that from 1948 to 2014, India either voted in favour of Israel or abstained 56 times in the Security Council 5? Palestine's embassy finally opened in India in 1996. After eating a hundred rats, the cat went for Hajj. I don't know what will happen to this country?" (ANI)
