"What is state Home Minister doing?": Maharashtra LoP Vijay Wadettiwar takes on BJP on law and order situation

Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], September 6 (ANI): Responding to a firing incident at Badlapur railway station where a man opened fire on two other men LoP Maharashtra Assembly, Vijay Wadettiwar raised questions over state's law and order situation and accused Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis of being busy with politics.
Speaking to ANI Wadettiwar, said, "In last six months, Maharashtra has reported 242 incidents of street crimes where people were stabbed, strangulated, crushed under vehicles and bullets were fired. So the law and order situation in Maharashtra has completely deteriorated. What is the Maharashtra Home Minister doing? He should not be so busy is doing politics... Incidents like these had never happened in Maharashtra before..."
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey hit out at the Mahayuti government over the law and order situation in the state, alleging that the government is busy playing politics and has no time for the welfare of the people.
"Yesterday, a firing incident took place in Badlapur, after which the whole of Badlapur hit the street and agitated," Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey said.
Criticising home minister Devendra Fadnavis, he said, "The law and order have completely collapsed in Maharashtra. Where is Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis?"
"Government is busy playing politics, contesting elections, forming government, and breaking parties," the Shiv Sena leader stated. He said that our railway stations are not safe, our bus stands are not safe, and crimes are happening regularly.
"Will you have a look at the law and order as well? Did you form the government in Maharashtra for the welfare of the people or to put people in trouble?" he added.
An incident of firing occurred at Badlapur railway station on Thursday around 6 p.m., creating a tense atmosphere when a young man opened fire on two people, injuring one.
The shooter has been arrested. Preliminary information reveals that the incident was the result of a dispute over money matters. (ANI)
