West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday ended the 2024 election campaign by holding padyatra in Kolkata.

Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], May 30 (ANI): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday ended the 2024 election campaign by holding padyatra in Kolkata.
During her padayatra, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was joined by Saayoni Ghosh, TMC's candidate for the Jadavpur Lok Sabha seat, as well as TMC's candidate for Krishnanagar, Mahua Moitra, along with several other senior party leaders.

The 12-kilometre-long 'padayatra' started from Jadavpur's Sukanta Setu area and ended at Kolkata South's Gopal Nagar crossing area, where a large number of supporters turned up for the padayatra.
Six phases of the Lok Sabha elections are over and the final phase will be held on June 1 in 57 constituencies in eight states and Union Territories. The polling for 42 seats of West Bengal is being held across all seven phases.
Polling for nine Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal will be conducted during the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha election on June 1. The Lok Sabha seats include Kolkata North, Basirhat, Barasat, Diamond Harbour, Dum Dum, Jaynagar, Jadavpur, Kolkata South, and Mathurapur. Vote counting will take place on June 4.
In the 2019 elections, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress won all 9 seats going to poll in the final phase of Lok Sabha election in West Bengal. (ANI)
