Patna (Bihar) [India], November 12 (ANI): Bihar Minister and national president of Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), Santosh Kumar Suman, reflected confidence in NDA's victory in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. He said that the people of the state are thrilled with the development work done by the National Democratic Alliance, and have faith in the ruling party.
"People are enthusiastic and confident of the work that NDA has done in Bihar, and that confidence can be seen in the form of votes...I believe we will secure even more seats than are shown," he said.
He took a swipe at the opposition,n stating that they are left behind due to their negligence to the general public, false promises, poor political strategies, etc.
"They don't have a leader... Neither are they ready to accept a leader... They have internal disputes over seat allocation... So, the voters notice everything... They want development and they know only NDA can bring that..." Suman stated.
He further highlighted the historic voter turnout, citing it as a victory of democracy. The state has seen record polling in the assembly polls.
The overall polling percentage for the two phases was 66.91 %. This is the highest voter turnout recorded in the State since 1951, according to the Election Commission. The first phase saw a voter turnout of 65.08%.
"This time, women voters were seen in a much higher percentage... They want peace, happiness, and growth in the state... The state aims for development... This time, the increased percentage of women voters will reflect on November 14..." he said.
Meanwhile, the first phase of polling was held on November 6, and the second phase concluded on Tuesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, the exit polls predicted that the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is poised to form the government again in Bihar. They predicted that the opposition Mahagathbandhan would fall short of the majority mark in the 243-member state assembly. (ANI)
