We are not trouble-mongers, if Bill suits us, will accept it: Gujjar leader

Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan) [India], Feb 14, (ANI): A day after the Rajasthan Assembly unanimously passed a Bill to give 5 per cent quota in government sector jobs and educational institutions to Gujjars and other four nomadic communities, Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla, on Thursday, welcomed the passing of the Rajasthan Backward Classes Amendment Bill, 2019. 
"My team will study it. We will have discussions on it. And then we will take a final decision by this evening," Kirori Singh Bainsla said.
Agitations by Gujjar community in various parts of the state have affected train and road services in the state.
"We are not trouble-mongers, let the bill come, let’s see it, discuss it, and if it suits us, within no time we will end the agitation with a word of gratitude," told ANI.
He further said, "We will discuss the Bill on these railway tracks itself."
The Bill was tabled in the Rajasthan Assembly on Wednesday and was passed unanimously. Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot said the state government will approach the Centre for an amendment in the Constitution which would make its implementation possible.
"The Gujjar community was waiting for so long. It is a historic moment for us," Pilot had earlier said. (ANI)
