Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], April 15 (ANI): Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday lauded India's transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his vision for the country in the next 25 years.
"PM Modi has visionary leadership. He has put forward a vision for the upcoming 25 years. I appeal to all new and old voters to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister again," he lauded.
He further asserted that the PM will fulfil the foundation of the vision for the upcoming 25 years. That's why the people need to make him Prime Minister for the third time.
Sawant was in Nagpur to campaign for Union Minister and BJP candidate from Nagpur, Nitin Gadkari. He has represented the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat for the last two terms and is set to seek a third term in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
He said that Gadkari will win this election by a huge margin and the NDA will win the maximum number of seats as people have trust in PM Modi's guarantees, adding that the NDA will win more than 40 seats in Maharashtra.
While speaking to the reporters, the Goa CM requested, "Make the slogan 'Abki baar 400 par' slogan true. There is only one guarantee in the country and that is Modi ji's guarantee. He does what he says."
In an interview with ANI on Monday, PM Modi gave every Indian a goal to achieve something for the country in the next 25 years.
"We are at 75 years of independence, and we are going to reach 100 years. "How do we make use of these next 25 years? In every institution, everyone should have a goal. I am the head of my village, and by 2047, I will do this much in my village," he added.
"So, in my mind, 2047 is the 100th anniversary of India's independence. And inspiration should arise in the country. And the 100th anniversary of independence is a great inspiration in itself. So, that is one part," he stated.
"I indeed have a vision of 25 years, and I have done a lot of work on that. And it is not like I am doing it today. Maybe when I was in Gujarat, I used to think in that direction. Now look at the 2024 elections. So there is an opportunity in front of the country because there is a model between the Congress government and the BJP government. They have worked for five to six decades. I leave a lot of room for them. They have worked for 5-6 decades, and I have only worked for 10 years. Compare these in any field. Even if there are some shortcomings, there will be no shortcomings in our efforts," said PM Modi. (ANI)
