Vijay Goel assures Regional Sports Centre for Telangana
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Jan. 02 (ANI): Union Minister of State (IC) of Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel has assured that a Regional Sports Centre would be opened in Telangana. The Union Minister was responding to a request made by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for the setting up of regional sports centre, for which the land is allotted by the state, said an official statement. Goel, who is on a state visit, met the Chief Minister in Pragathi Bhavan here on Monday. The Union Minister assured that the centre would cooperate with the state for the development of sports activities. He said he would be visiting the historic and ancient Warangal City on Tuesday. He said he would be also visiting rare tourism sport Laknavaram. He has also evinced keen interest on the 2BHK house scheme of the state government. The Union Minister will visit the 2BHK Homes in Eravelli and Narasampet on Tuesday. (ANI)
