"Very happy with outcome," says Devendra Fadnavis' wife as Mahayuti wins poll

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 23 (ANI): Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, praised the BJP campaign for its success in the Maharashtra Assembly elections on Saturday.
"I am very happy with the outcome that has come out. It is phenomenal... The hard work of the party, Devendra Fadnavis, and all the workers of the party has paid off...What has happened is best for the state," she said.
As the Mahayuti alliance registered a landslide victory in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, incumbent CM Eknath Shinde stated that, just as the alliance fought the elections together, they will collectively decide on the CM face once the final results are declared on Saturday.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said that the people of Maharashtra have given Mahayuti an "unprecedented victory" and there "will be no dispute on CM's face.".
"The people of Maharashtra have given us an unprecedented victory. This shows that people are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In line with the slogan he gave 'ek hain toh safe hain', people from all sections and communities voted for us unitedly... "
Fadnavis told reporters here. "This is the victory of Mahayuti, CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, and Ramdas Athawale; this is the victory of unity..." he added.
According to current trends, in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Mahayuti alliance has crossed the crucial majority mark, as per ECI data. As per the initial results, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 126 seats and has won 3, driving the charge in Maharashtra.
The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena (SHS) follows closely, with leads in 55 seats and 2 wins. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, is leading in 37 seats with 2 wins, while the Rashtriya Yuva Swabhiman Party (RSHYVSWBHM) is leading in 1 seat. (ANI)
