Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], April 14 (ANI): Iqbal Ansari, a former litigant in Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi case, said on Sunday that the Bharatiya Janata Party's manifesto is very beneficial for the country and that the next Prime Minister should be like Narendra Modi Ji.
"The question is about our country. The manifesto of the BJP that has come is very beneficial for the country, whatever work has been done in the country should be for the good of the poor, and the poor should be taken care of. The government is giving free rations and free electricity. If the government is giving all these things away for free, then our country will go far ahead. The government will be appreciated if the unemployed people engage in start-up or start their own work," he said.
Further, Ansari mentioned that if PM Modi will implement welfare schemes fo rthe people then they will automatically be attracted towards him.
"10 years have passed since the tenure of the Prime Minister, even five more years should be much better. There is electricity, there is ration, there is medicine, and if our Prime Minister will take care of the public, we will be attracted towards him. We want the coming government; the coming Prime Minister should be like Narendra Modi ji," he added.
Meanwhile, The BJP released its poll manifesto on Sunday with the tagline "Modi ki Guarantee," with a focus on more development, women's welfare and a roadmap for "Viksit Bharat" (developed India). The manifesto released by the party promised 'One Nation One Election' and "single electoral roll."
In its election promise, the party also aims to make the country the third-largest economy in the world. The manifesto set the goal of making India a "global manufacturing hub".
