Uttarakhand CM Dhami meets BJP's state-in-charge Dushyant Gautam

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], July 14 (ANI): Ahead of the state working committee meeting, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed BJP National General Secretary and Uttarakhand State Incharge Dushyant Kumar Gautam at his official residence today.
The state working committee meeting is to be held in Dehradun on Monday.
On this occasion, State President Mahendra Bhatt, State General Secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar and other officials were present.
Earlier in the day, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted with people at the Janta Darbar organised in the Mukhya Sewak Sadan at the CM's residence.
Earlier on Saturday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting of the State Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee constituted under the Uttarakhand Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, at the Chief Minister's residence.
This meeting was organised after 14 years. The Chief Minister directed the officials to organise this meeting every six months.
CM Dhami said that the chairpersons of the SC and ST Commission should also be invited as special members in the upcoming meetings.
The Chief Minister directed in the meeting that the pending cases under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act should be disposed of in a timely manner, for which regular advocacy should be done in the courts. On receipt of complaints, FIR proceedings should be done immediately and the police should investigate speedily. (ANI)
