Uttarakhand CM Dhami conducts site inspection of under-construction AIIMS in Kichha

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday conducted a site inspection of the AIIMS Satellite Center under construction at Khurpiya Farm. During the inspection, he took information about the construction work from the engineers of the implementing agency and CPWD.

Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand) [India], October 13 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday conducted a site inspection of the AIIMS Satellite Center under construction at Khurpiya Farm. During the inspection, he took information about the construction work from the engineers of the implementing agency and CPWD.
Chief Minister Dhami said, "Once AIIMS is built in Kichha, our patients will not have to go outside for treatment, all facilities will be available in one hospital under one roof."
The implementing agency informed that as per the standards of AIIMS Kichha National Disaster Management Authority, a 280-bed pre-fabricated hospital is being built in 100 acres of land at a cost of Rs 351 crore.
In which ICU, OPD, IPD, nursing hostel, residential building etc. equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will be built. The manager of the implementing agency informed that the boundary wall work of AIIMS is almost complete, along with other works are also being done at a fast pace.
He told that along with planting trees on the roadside in AIIMS, proper drainage system has also been kept.
The implementing agency informed that the construction work of AIIMS will be completed by the year 2025.
During the inspection of AIIMS, the Chief Minister also talked to the workers working there and also got to know their problems. Everyone expressed satisfaction.
He said this is a very big gift for them. For this, he expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also planted a sapling in the AIIMS campus. (ANI)
