Uttarakhand: CM Dhami approves funds worth Rs 1389.75 lakh for development of Kedarghati

The Uttarakhand government has approved funds worth Rs 1389.75 lakh for various works in Kedarghati on the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], October 15 (ANI): The Uttarakhand government has approved funds worth Rs 1389.75 lakh for various works in Kedarghati on the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday.
Under the state plan, approval of Rs 535.10 lakh has been given for the improvement and asphalting of the Chandrapurigugli-Aso-Jaykaran-D motor road in development block Augustmuni. The total length of this road is 5 km.
Apart from this, under the state plan, approval of Rs 17.71 lakh has been given for the construction of a double lane class A loading 95-meter span steel girder motor bridge and 2.50 km access road on Alaknanda river between Sari Gauchar in development block Augustmuni.
At the same time, financial approval has been given for two construction works in the Kedarnath assembly constituency under the state plan. In, addition to the improvement and asphalting work of the Dewar motor road (8.50 km) from the Guptkashi-Jakhdhar-Tayudi motor road in the development block Ukhimath at a cost of Rs 471.87 lakh, the improvement and asphalting of the Andargarhi to Dhartoliyon motor road (4.50 km) in the development block Augustmuni at a cost of Rs 365.07 lakh has been approved.
Earlier CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday paid tribute to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary and said that his work in building a modern and strong India is inspiring.
"Tributes to the great scientist, former President and Bharat Ratna decorated "Missile Man" Dr APJ Abdul Kalam ji on his birth anniversary. Your contribution to the field of space and defence technology is incomparable. Your work in building a modern and strong India will always inspire us," wrote CM Dhami on social media platform X.
