Uri attack: India must expose Pak before UNSC, says Ujjwal Nikam
Mumbai [India], Sept. 18 (ANI): Senior advocate Ujjwal Nikam on Sunday condemned the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri where 17 soldiers were martyred and asked India to expose Pakistan before the United Nations Security Council for indulging in such kind of proxy wars since long. "It's nothing but a proxy war. Pakistan is indulging in such kind of proxy wars since long. The terrorist attack of 26/11 was a starting point and thereafter Pakistan is continuously indulging in such types of attacks on us," he said. "Now, it is high time to put very strong restriction and sanction on Pakistan. We must raise this issue before the United Nation Security Council and America should take a very leading part in putting such sanctions on Pakistan," he added. The senior advocate further said that India must see how it can destabilize terrorist camps in PoK. At least 17 soldiers were martyred and 19 others injured post the terror strike on an army camp close to the headquarters of the 12th Brigade at Uri in Baramulla district. All four terrorists have been killed in what has emerged as worse than the attack on the Pathankot air base earlier in January this year, in which seven army men were killed. In a statement, the Army said that a group of heavily armed terrorists targeted the rear administrative base of a unit at Uri, and in the counter action, four terrorists have been eliminated and combing operations are in progress.
