UP now has a clear choice to elect next govt.: BJP on SP feud
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], Jan. 3 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said that the people of Uttar Pradesh now have a clear choice in the upcoming assembly polls as true colors of the Samajwadi Party (SP) are being exposed in their internal feud. "Instead of fighting the assembly elections they are fighting among themselves. Their true colors are being exposed before the elections. The people of Uttar Pradesh now have a clear choice to elect the next government," BJP leader S. Prakash told ANI. He added that the huge response of the people in 'parivartan' rally gives a clear signal as to where the crowd is leaning. "Narendra Modi, our beloved prime minister's aggressive ...parivartan rally is receiving tremendous response. Today he addressed a historic rally in Lucknow today which clearly signifies people's choice where it lies," he added. The Samajwadi Party split on Sunday with a national convention declaring Akhilesh the new national president, a post that was held by his father. The convention also made Mulayam, the patron of the party. As the day progressed, the fight between the rival factions turned ugly with supporters of the two groups fighting for the party office. The Chief Minister after being proposed as the national president said his respect for his father was more than ever, adding that he would stand against those conspiring against the party. (ANI)
