UP Govt. warns slaughterhouses to obey rules, turns focus on restoring law and order

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], March, 22 (ANI): Warning the licensed slaughterhouses to comply as per rules, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minster on Wednesday said that strict action will be taken against the illegal one's and added that the main agenda of the Government is to restore law and order in the state.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], March, 22 (ANI): Warning the licensed slaughterhouses to comply as per rules, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minster on Wednesday said that strict action will be taken against the illegal one's and added that the main agenda of the Government is to restore law and order in the state. "In the cabinet meeting Chief Minister said that we have to restore rule of law in the state and address problems of the public. Licensed slaughterhouses are allowed to function, there should be no confusion in this," said Cabinet Minister Siddharth Nath Singh. Singh further told ANI that maintaining strict law in the slaughterhouses was part of their manifesto and said that if any slaughterhouses do not work as per rules then their licences will be cancelled. Further commenting on the anti-romeo squad launched by the Uttar Pradesh Government, Singh said that one should not misuse this law. "Anti Romeo squad's aim is to make women feel safe and to prevent any wrong incidents against women from happening. The people vigilantism one this thing should be stopped," he told ANI. Singh who has been allotted the Health Ministry said that he will work dedicatedly work for its betterment and improvement of the division. Another Cabinet Minister Shrikant Sharma said that, "Chief Minister said that File index should be maintained in order to track the movement of any file." He added that action will be taken against the officers who are not working properly adding that it is important to change the working pattern which was practiced in previously. Sharma, who has been allotted Power Ministry, said that security will not be given to the minister just for status symbol and night patrolling will be increased for the safety of the people. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today alloted portfolios to his cabinet ministers, where he kept Home and Institutional Finance with himself. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has been allotted the work of Public Works, Food Processing, Entertainment Tax, and Public Enterprises Department. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma has been appointed as Secondary and Higher Education, Science and Technology, Electronics, Department of Information Technology. (ANI)
