UP CM Yogi pays floral tribute at Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj site in Ayodhya

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday paid floral tribute at the site of Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj in Ayodhya and said that the revered saint will always be remembered for his incomparable contributions to the progress of Sanatan Dharma and Ram Mandir construction.

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 7 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday paid floral tribute at the site of Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj in Ayodhya and said that the revered saint will always be remembered for his incomparable contributions to the progress of Sanatan Dharma and Ram Mandir construction.
Taking to the social media platform X, the Chief Minister wrote, "Humble tribute to the revered saint, the late Mahant Paramhans Ramchandra Das Ji Maharaj! He will always be remembered for his incomparable contributions to the progress of Sanatan Dharma and the construction of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram."
Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, he said, "After 500 years, the wait got over and Ram Lalla got his rightful place in Ayodhya. The city got a new identity. Due to the efforts of PM Modi, the world witnessed the power of India's judiciary. People used to say that if Ram Mandir got constructed, rivers of blood would flow on the roads."
"The wait of 500 years was over on January 22, 2024. The date has become immemorable across the world. The Ram Mandir has enhanced the saints' pride and given a new identity to the people of Ayodhya. People from Ayodhya are getting respect everywhere they visit," said the CM.
Earlier in the day, the Uttar Pradesh CM extended greetings on National Handloom Day and said that the handloom industry has been our tradition and identity.
"Heartiest congratulations and best wishes on National Handloom Day to the hard-working weavers, handicraftsmen and residents of the state who are accelerating the development journey of the 'New India' with their art and skill! The handloom industry has been our tradition and our identity. Come, let us adopt the mantra of 'Vocal for Local' and make our identity global," the Chief Minister posted on X. (ANI)
