"Two powerhouses, one vision for the future": Tamil Nadu CM Stalin

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday described Tamil Nadu and North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany's economic powerhouse, as two regions united by a shared vision for the future.

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], September 2 (ANI): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday described Tamil Nadu and North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany's economic powerhouse, as two regions united by a shared vision for the future.
The Chief Minister added that he met with NRW Minister-President Thiru Hendrik Wust and extended a cordial invitation for him to visit Tamil Nadu.
He further noted that Tamil Nadu, known as India's industrial hub, and NRW, regarded as Germany's economic engine, came together with "the spirit of trust and optimism."

In a post on X after his meeting with NRW Minister-President Hendrik Wust in Dusseldorf, Stalin said, "Two powerhouses, one vision for the future...In Dusseldorf, I met NRW Minister-President Thiru. @HendrikWuest -- a leader who has assumed high office at such a young age, and whom I warmly wish to see reach even greater heights in the years ahead. Tamil Nadu, India's industrial powerhouse, and North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany's economic powerhouse, came together with the spirit of trust and optimism."


The Chief Minister detailed the state's remarkable progress under the Dravidian Model of governance. He expressed confidence that the collaboration with companies in NRW to explore the opportunities in our state.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister announced that 26 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 7,020 crore were signed, which will aim to create over 15,000 new jobs in the state.
Stalin concluded his visit to the 'TNRising Germany Investment Conclave' on Tuesday.
In a post on X, Stalin said, "The Germany leg of my overseas investment mission concludes on a strong note. At the #TNRising Germany Investment Conclave, 23 MoUs worth Rs. 3,819 crore were signed, set to generate over 9,000 jobs. Global leaders across renewable energy, automotive components and advanced R&D have chosen Tamil Nadu for their next phase of growth. In total, 26 MoUs worth Rs. 7,020 crore have been signed during the Germany visit, set to generate over 15,000 jobs in Tamil Nadu."


Furthermore, Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce, Dr T R B Rajaa said that the Chief Minister secured 23 MoUs worth Rs. 3,819 crore, which will generate 9,070 new jobs at the 'TNRising Germany Investors Conclave' in Dusseldorf.
He later emphasised that companies with existing operations have also chosen to reinvest and expand in the state, reaffirming their trust in the unmatched industrial ecosystem and governance of Tamil Nadu.
"A Total of Rs. 7,020 crore in MoUs creating 15,320 jobs!...Further to our three major MoUs signed earlier, our Honourable @CMOTamilNadu Thiru. @MKStalin avargal secured 23 MoUs worth Rs. 3,819 crore, generating 9,070 new jobs at the #TNRising Germany Investors Conclave in Dusseldorf...With this, the overall investments signed in Germany during the Chief Minister's visit now stand at a total of Rs. 7,020 crore across 26 MoUs, creating 15,320 #JobsForTN!," the Minister wrote in a post on X.
"Today's conclave further brought in global leaders such as BASF, Herrenknecht, Vensys Energy, Bella, Puls, Witzenmann, and MASH Energy, who are investing across renewable energy, automotive components, industrial equipment, and advanced R&D," Dr T R B Rajaa added. (ANI)
