Two jawans killed in Naxal attack in Bijapur

Pawan Bishnoi was allegedly booked in connection with arranging a Bolero car used in the shooting that killed Moosewala, while Jagtar Singh was booked on a separate ground, along with more than 20 others, in the high-profile murder case.

The message threatening a bomb attack on the court was received in the Mandya district judge's mail. Police, bomb squad and fire brigade personnel reached the court immediately after receiving the information and are inspecting the matter.

In a video released by the Chief Minister's PRO, Sangma said he was at the NPP office in Tura and acknowledged the previous day's unrest, during which several locations, including the party office, were vandalised, attacked and set on fire by unidentified individuals. Congress MP Rajani Patil on Thursday demanded strict action following the attack on National Conference President, Farooq Abdullah. She flagged the state of security, underlining that even a Z plus protectee became a target.
