TTV Dinakaran takes charge as AIADMK's deputy general secretary
Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], Feb.23 (ANI): TTV Dhinakaran on Thursday took charge as All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK)'s deputy general secretary. "Thiru TTV Dinakaran takes charge as AIADMK's Deputy General Secretary," AIADMK tweeted. Dhinakaran was appointed as the Deputy General Secretary of AIADMK by party leader V.K. Sasikala Natarajan on February 15. Sasikala took the decision following the Supreme Court's verdict wherein she was sentenced to four-year imprisonment in disproportionate asset case. Dhinakaran, who is nephew of Sasikala was expelled from the party in 2011 by the late former chief minister J. Jayalaithaa. However, after Jayalaithaa's demise many relatives of Sasikala including Dhinakaran, regained their position. (ANI)
