TRS celebrates International Women's Day
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Mar. 8 (ANI): Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) women leaders came together to mark the celebration of International Women's Day. They cut a cake and played games at the TRS Bhavan. Member of Parliament K. Kavitha was the chief guest and addressed the gathering by wishing all on International Women's Day. "Many women leaders supported TRS party from the day it was formed and I took this occasion to thank all of them," she said. On this International Women's day, a three members committee including K. Kavitha, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy and Tula Uma, Karimnagar ZP Chairperson was called to select women leaders for the nominated posts. Women who actively participated in Telangana agitation and are also working hard for women empowerment were given a chance. (ANI)
