Madras High Court has sought a response from MK Stalin in this regard by April 3.

Tamil Nadu [India], Mar 29 (ANI): Tamil Nadu government on Friday approached the Madras High court to issue a gag order restraining Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief MK Stalin from speaking about Kodanadu Estate heist during the campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
Madras High Court has sought a response from Stalin in this regard by April 3.
Two months ago, Stalin put up a petition before Governor Banwarilal Purohit with a demand for an investigation into the controversial Kodanadu Estate robbery case.
He had also demanded the resignation of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.
"The Kodanadu Estate is a very important residence of former CM J Jayalalitha and thus the murder and robbery there is of great significance," he had said.
"The two people who had given all the information in the case have been taken into custody last night. The death of many people associated in the case has raised doubts on the way these people have died," he had said.
Stalin had also assured that if there is a need, the party's representatives at the Centre will also meet President Ram Nath Kovind and update him on the case. (ANI)
