Those who don't call terrorist a terrorist, can't question the patriotism of citizens: Jitendra Singh
Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct.08 (ANI): Reacting to the furore over a demand for proof of surgical strikes carried out by Indian Army, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh on Saturday said that those who don't have the courage to call terrorist a terrorist don't have the moral authority to question the patriotism of the Prime Minister. "As Indians we need to believe in our forces which are acting as a shield and enabling us to lead our routine as we wish to while they are spending sleepless nights on the border keeping constant vigil and looking after our security," he said. Singh's comments came in response to comments made by Congress leaders Sanjay Nirupam and P. Chidambaram and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The incident has triggered a political slugfest among the political parties who have been reacting strongly against them. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in the Gujarat Assembly and another Congress leader Shankarsinh Vaghela had also asked the Centre "to provide proof of the army's action to clear the doubts arising in the mind of the people about the claims of the government".
