New Delhi [India], December 3 (ANI): The Election Commission today declared the assembly election results of four states and the Bharatiya Janata Party performed brilliantly in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and secured full majority while Congress managed to win in Telangana.
Reacting to the landslide victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur termed this as the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development-oriented politics.
"These wins show the ever-increasing confidence of the public in Modi ji's leadership and BJP. This shows the unbreakable connection of the public with their beloved Prime Minister and his politics of Sushashan, development and garib kalyan," said Thakur.
Anurag Thakur further praised the organisational skills and leadership of BJP president JP Nadda and the hard work of party workers and said, "I convey my hearty congratulations to all the MLAs engaged in the election campaign and thank the people of the states for allowing us to serve."
Thakur further said, "One thing is clear from these results that there is only one guarantee in which people have faith and that is Modi's guarantee. These election results are also an indication that BJP will get a landslide victory in 2024."
Thakur said, "Modi ji continues to be the most loved leader of the country. People have completely negated the Congress and its guarantees and have reposed trust in good governance, development and welfare politics of BJP."
Thakur further said, "The people of Chhattisgarh have given this mandate in protest against the corruption of Bhupesh Baghel and the Congress. The mothers and sisters of Rajasthan have voted out the Congress against the crime, anarchy and corrupt system of Gehlot. Madhya Pradesh has expressed confidence in the double engine government."
In an indirect attack on Rahul Gandhi, Thakur said that people who go on holiday abroad are now free to enjoy long holidays. The more mud the opposition threw at us, the more our lotus blossomed. In all the elections in which Modi ji was personally attacked, the public showed its place to the opposition."
Responding to the caste issue being raised prominently by the opposition in recent times, Thakur said that the people have now recognized the Congress's policy of divide and rule. Today the caste model given by Modi ji is universally accepted in the country. Today there are only four castes in the country: Youth, farmers, women and poor. The country today just wants development." (ANI)
