Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], December 5 (ANI): After being sworn in as a Jharkhand Cabinet Minister, JMM MLA Hafizul Hasan stated on Thursday that his primary focus will be on education and employment, followed by roads, water, and electricity.

On Thursday, a total of 11 MLAs were sworn in as Ministers in the JMM-led Mahagathbandhan government in Jharkhand, marking the much-awaited cabinet expansion in the state. The oath was administered by the state governor, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, during a ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Ranchi.
Since his swearing-in on November 28, Chief Minister Hemant Soren had been the sole member of the state government's cabinet. However, the cabinet was formally expanded today with the induction of the other ministers.
Among the MLAs sworn in today, six belonged to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), four to the Congress, and one to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), which secured a ministerial position in Soren's cabinet.
The JMM ministers sworn in were Yogendra Prasad, Sudivya Kumar, Ramdas Soren, Hafizul Hasan, Deepak Birua, and Chamra Linda.
The four Congress MLAs inducted into the cabinet were Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Irfan Ansari, Dipika Pandey Singh, and Radha Krishana Kishore.
RJD MLA Sanjay Prasad Yadav also took oath as a minister in the JMM-led Mahagathbandhan government.
The JMM spearheaded the INDIA bloc's victory, securing 56 seats in the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly. The JMM itself won 34 seats, while its allies claimed 22 seats--16 by the Congress, four by the RJD, and two by the CPI-ML.
In contrast, the BJP-led NDA secured only 24 seats in Jharkhand. The BJP won 21 seats, while its allies--the AJSU Party, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), and JD-U--won one seat each. (ANI)
