Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Nov.26 (ANI): A Hanuman temple in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada city received a whopping Rs.1 crore and 5 lakh in the past one month after the government scrapped Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currency notes. "We have been getting lot of devotes for the past one month. So once in every month we open the Hundi. We have never received so much money, it is astonishing," Ramakrishna Macharyulu, the temple's priest, told ANI. TMC's jibe at Centre amid LPG crisis due to West Asia conflict

In an 'X' post, TMC said the government has "ek hi naara, line mein rahe desh bechara," pointing to past governmental measures including demonetisation, the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the Special Identification Registration (SIR), and now the LPG shortage. The party described demonetisation as a "Tughlaqi farman" that forced ordinary citizens to wait in serpentine queues outside banks and ATMs for days to access their own money.
